Arline Fireman, PhD

Co‑chair, RSP Study Center admissions; director and supervisor, NIP postdoctoral fellows program; faculty, post‑graduate program in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy at Adelphi University. Licensed clinical psychologist/psychoanalyst in private practice. Areas of interest:  infancy research, nonverbal (implicit) communication, interactive influence phenomena.

Shawn Lynn, LCSW

Faculty and supervisor, RSP Study Center. Certified psychoanalyst in private practice; clinical social worker; consultant with JFC Professional Services, Inc., a boutique psychological consultation firm; former director of Outreach Greenpoint, a multilingual, multicultural outpatient addictions treatment program in Brooklyn, NY. Member of TRISP, IAPSP and APSP; extensive experience in addictions, trauma and attachment.

Lynn Preston, MA, MS, LP

Faculty and supervisor, RSP Study Center; faculty, Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy; Director of Focusing‑Oriented Relational Psychotherapy program in both New York City and Cape Town, South Africa; certified psychoanalyst in private practice. Special interest in the experiential use of theory and the bridging of psychoanalysis and Gendlin’s Philosophy of the Implicit.  Published and presented on these subjects internationally.

Michele Schwartz, MA, LCSW

Director, faculty and supervisor, RSP Study Center; faculty, ICP; faculty and supervisor, TRISP.  Specializes in work with childhood trauma using EMDR, Somatic Experiencing and Sensory‑Motor Psychotherapy as well as analytic relational self psychology.

Ellen Shumsky, LCSW, LP
